The world’s biggest aerospace and defence company, Lockheed Martin, on Friday announced it had signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three Indian start-up firms: Terero Mobility, Sastra Robotics, and NoPo Nanotechnologies.
These companies, which will now be mentored by Lockheed Martin to integrate into its global supply chain, were identified through the India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP), an innovation contest through which the US firm identifies Indian research and development (R&D) potential.
Lockheed Martin has announced it expects Terero Mobility to work on thedesign, development, test and qualification of a “Cargo Ground Buildup System” (CGBS), which will handle cargo delivered by air force transport aircraft at remote locations without ground handling facilities.
The CGBS concept was developed through a Lockheed Martin-sponsored R&D project at IIT Madras. The US company says it will provide “system engineering support and mentoring to Terero Mobility to enable them to develop and deliver a vehicle that is capable of transport by C-130 and similar platforms.”
Meanwhile, Lockheed Martin says NoPo Nanotechnologies will work on qualifying Carbon nanotubes to provide electromagnetic interference and lightning protection. If it is successful the Indian firm will become a supplier to Lockheed Martin and its Tier-1 vendors.
Sastra Robotics will work on robots for avionics testing of systems such as the avionics display of tactical fighter platforms, including the F-21 fighter that Lockheed Martin hopes to supply the Indian Air Force (IAF). Successful qualification would enable Sastra Robotics to be a supplier to Lockheed Martin and its Tier-1 vendors.
“We are delighted to have identified, through the IIGP, three inspiring start-ups that we perceive potential to collaborate with on a global scale. We envision our intended partnership with them to enhance the platforms and programs we’re developing, especially the solutions we wish to offer India,” said Phil Shaw, who heads Lockheed Martin in India.
Lockheed Martin this week held an “aerospace suppliers conference” in New Delhi, to identify Indian firms that could manufacture components, sub-systems and systems. If the US firm’s F-21 fighter is selected by the IAF in an ongoing tender for 114 multi-role fighters, Lockheed Martin will be required to meet a stiff 40-50 per cent indigenisation requirement while building the F-21 in India.
Lockheed Martin has already tied-up with Tata Advanced Systems. The two companies jointly produce a range of aerospace products, including Sikorsky helicopter cabins, at a joint facility in Hyderabad.

It can be fitted in Mig-21 Bis and Jaguar and Mirage and all IAF Aircrafts and the missile will rank above AIM-C-7 and equal to AIM-D-2 of USA. One Improved Mica RF given for 150Kms plus range with Dual Wave Seeker technology and equalling Meteor and can be fixed in Mirage and Jaguar Alike. Similarly the SFDR Missile by DRDO uses technologies of two of my missiles one for Fuel and another the Nozzleless. Inputs regarding One AIM Sidewinder Block-9 capable missile too has been given to make and will someday help IAF to hit Aircraft at Top and Back say in any direction in auto mode.
ReplyDeleteAfter inputs by me in Seeker technology the NAAG ANTI-Tank missile become much better than Javelin ATGM and especially the Night Fire and smokeless and MANPAD exceeds USA MANPAD Technology say all but one say Spike ER with proximity fuse of different type. Though Indian MANPAD accuracy etc. is better. Simialry time to time technologies are given by me assuming threat perception and time in actual production takes years due to red tapism as political commission in tandem with thekedars remain in vogue always. So I decided to ask universal royalty of 30%+tax free from PMO on the selling price of two comparable products worldwide.
As told the price of 1900 crore for A-26 Kochums is for one submarine for a bulk deal of 54 submarine or as many as want with high end technology transfer from Sweden.
Also Aashwin Missile high end seeker given so also for PVD. They can now nullify MIRVed from IRBMs and MRBMs from Abdeel and Dongfeng 26 and Dongfeng 31. And has Technology for MARVs though I has indicated some concise theory say one chapter to the indian scientists of DRDO via Tri Command spying though refused to give them concrete inputs. So Indian Agni II equals USA Minuteman-III missile capabilities and Agni IV and Agni V exceeds Mintuteman-III capabilities of Tall Boy with High End MIRVed (ed stands for Manouverable at the end or last minute so MIRV and MIRVed has a little difference). MARV I may someday give to them but espionage will be a great problem by politicians.

I had given DRDO via Tri Command and informing PMO afterwards give MaRV technology for Agni-2-3-4-5 missiles and Prahar Missiles MaRV technolgoy too. The technology surpasses the USA, China (on USA stolen technology) say Become Minuteman-8 like the Dongfeng-41C solid fuelled one up than Silo Based missile with 10 MaRV equalling nano warheads. Ours say Indian will be having say Pico Warheads. Also given Kali - 2 lac GW. Similarly MiRV for Agni-2 missile too have been given. World has moved to new higher lot. At present MaRV technology is with USA, China (under construction on stolen USA technology), Russia (far away with Avengard on Samrat missile used my technology sold by PM NDDM via He3-gun and He-4 missile light speed missile) and France-Germany-Japan courtesy PM NDDM MODI again mere formulae bech kar aa raha hai is desh ko barbad karne ke liye. ReplyDeleteNAAG Missile now made 6Kms and Helina 16Kms range in six month from now with 100% success rate and will be even out the BMP-2 Sarath like Namica Launchers vis a vis tank and all day and night capability for 6kms though night range may exceed by 3 km more to as high as 9 kms within visual.
