ReplyDeleteSwedes just refuse to give up dont they..man i wished i had some of that optimism bordering on insanity.. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's Gripen if i am correct!!!!
ReplyDeleteJesus ... you are looking damn fit and cool next to that plane. You are for sure creating a vaccum in everyones mind to give a thought to other options that our MOD had either neglected or not publicly publicised...... I appreciate your work...
ReplyDeleteHope to see the Arjun report soon...Thanks
More confusions! Why Gripen now?

ReplyDeletedon't make fool of people i am visiting your blog from last two week.
ReplyDeleteDo you need 4 week to post a report...
Shukla Jee, You should have Like button on your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteSir, we are eagerly awaiting the FGFA analysis too!!

ReplyDeletewow... cant wait. Is this the Tejas naval version??
ReplyDeletePlease sir aap jara Arjun Mk2 ki photos post krna.
ReplyDeleteSo, you are saying you were really busy having a new suit made, hence no time to blog?
ReplyDeletecujo
That's right, Cujo, I was getting that suit stitched. Good tailors don't work fast.
ReplyDeleteAnd good journalists don't write articles too quickly either.
By the way, nobody's correctly identified that aircraft behind me... So here's a question: what aircraft is that and what makes it so?
@ Gourish
ReplyDelete"Swedes just refuse to give up"?
Just tell me, which of the MMRCA contenders has actually, really and truly given up?
Or could be just the NG trainer!!
ReplyDeleteYeah the rear wheels show it's one of the NG it looks more like the Gripen NG tandem seat operational trainer.
ReplyDeleteits JAS-39B trainer aircraft!!!
ReplyDeleteSir i am following your blog for a loong time . Ever since i rate your blog as one of my genuine source . I come here to learn abt ur take on indian defence, some time it is same as my view...some times not (like in jsf)....but thats ok coz u have the exp unlike me whose only window is through internet..... But now i am really pissed of by seeing a coment by an anyonym shit abusing you in local language......why are u letting such scumbags ruin this blog sir.......
ReplyDeleteSir we are all eagerly waiting for arjun update......pls dont make us nervous...... :).......and i bit lazy hence not siging in sorry
@ arun rajkumar.l
1. Gripen E/F?
ReplyDelete2. Or is it the legendary Sea Gripen mock up / prototype?
It was Saab Gripen NG
ReplyDeleteIs this a EF typhoon???
ReplyDeleteIs this the Hawk AJT?
ReplyDeleteBroadsword @ 18.17, I think that's the Gripen Demo.
ReplyDeleteits some jet trainer may be modified hawk ...
ReplyDeletehawk ijt
ReplyDeleteWisc dude
Headed for the Dubai airshow?
ReplyDeleteCol....MiG35, Russians have given up and they have also started cold shouldering India by excluding India from SCO, canceled naval exercise, appeasing Pakistan and favoring Chinese investment in Oil & Gas prospecting. I think F-35 pitch is at right time nor for MMRCA replacement but as a T-50 replacement.
ReplyDeleteHey you are looking so young that I am getting a complex.
ReplyDeleteShuklaji AAPNE Brahman Jaati ki

Is that not Gripen NG?
ReplyDelete- DK
@broadsword
ReplyDeletewhat you're standing with is the gripen ng.
what makes it distinguishable is that the cockpit canopy doesn't merge seamlessly into the spine at the back
ankit
Jaguar?? :D
ReplyDeleteIT is Prototype Gripen NG..
ReplyDeleteas it is a Twin seater.
Sudheendra S
come on now this was easy, we can see the logo on the tail. Definitely a Gripen I will go with the NG model.
ReplyDeleteJudging from the nosewheel behind you that's a Sea Gripen. Looks catapult friendly! Hard to discern an arrestor hook at the back but I would expect to see one located there.
ReplyDeleteIs that the IJT?
ReplyDeleteTrue that..
ReplyDeleteWith MoD's idiotic procurement policies, a single anon letter,a newsreport pertaining to corruption in the downselect of MMRCA in an already charged atmosphere with a government reeling under enormous taint of corruption everybody stands a chance..hell even the american teens stand a chance..I stand corrected..
this is the Gripen NG and this aircraft went to the RIAT, the tattoo can be seen. also the sea gripen is based on this aircraft
ReplyDeleteCol Shukla,
ReplyDeleteMicke Bra (very good) as the Swedes say :). If you happen to be in Stockholm on Saturday, do check out the Jazz/Blues bar Stampen in Gamlastan, if that is you havent already :-).
