    That was the ALH Dhruv sold to Ecuador!!! one of them was returned by Ecuador as the date of manufacture didn't meet the contractual requirements.

    The final Dhruv that will be handed over to the EAF during the Aero India show. I don't know whether it will be handed over during the Aero India, but it's a guess of the handover. But this is the Dhruv for the EAF.

    1. Replacement Dhruv for the Ecuadorian Air Force for the one that crashed.
    2. One of the remaining two of the order of 7 from the Ecuadorian Air Force. (5 have been delivered, 1 crashed, 2 remaining to be delivered by Feb 2011)

    This is not one of the remaining two Dhruvs for Ecuador... those will be delivered in the first half of 2011.

    To add to this answer.
    The two remaining dhruvs have already been delivered to the Ecuadorean air force a year back.

    If this picture is recent, then this is the replacement dhruv for the one that crashed.

    The question is, if this is the replacement dhruv, who paid for it?

    BTW, who paid for this one? The insurance company, The Ecuadorean airforce, HAL or something that was split between the three or less partners?

    Oh Gosh! I also had this answer in my mind but i thought only one answer is permissible.

    BTW that FAE Dhruv had crashed because of pilot error. By any chance HAL providing free replacement?
