ReplyDeleteHi Ajai,
ReplyDeleteIs this True, the Great King Prithviraj Chauhan's grave exist in Afghanistan & do this Afghans descrate it every day as a sign of anger, for killing Ghauri.
Wish you a Happy Gregorian New Year 2011! Looking forward to more interesting articles...articles which make the broader populace (?leaders as well) think why don't Army Aviation have well proven Attack choppers like the Cobra/Tiger/Apache? Why can't India have SAFER Jet Trainers avoiding talented pilot attrition for decades?? Whats holding the IA from sending LRRPs sabotaging chinese and pakistani border defence infrastructure - equipment?? Why does India get bullied into paying what the Russians demand - Gorshkov or PAKFA??
ReplyDeleteIs 2011 similar to 1962? Are we gonna be stabbed from THREE (instead of ONE) Front(s)??
Thank You wish you the same :)

ReplyDeleteCol Shukla,
ReplyDeleteI suggest you should try and indulge yourself with some of the pashtoon intelectuals (Durranis at least) to see if they have ay memories of their Sanatan past. As per the chain they are descendents of Suryavanshi Rajputs and converted post one of their ancestor (King) went to Mecca around 750Ad (Caroe- Pathans).
What are the Pashtoons in denial of their Buddhist past too ?
Good time to indulge I guess in some great food.
Enjoy
Nice Photo with Mrs Shukla.
