    Ajai sahib, you have removed the name!! :)

    It still is a NAL Hansa. Made for rookie flight instruction in the country.

    About 200 kmph speed and about 700 kg weight.

    Engine about 100 HP, looking for better engines with more HP.

    Brownies and stars please?

    As per Wikipedia:
    The production variant made its first flight on May 14, 1999.

    If I am not wrong, then It must be
    the first prototype of NAL/HAL "HANSA-II" (Reg.No: VT-XIW).

    It made its first flight on 23rd Nov 1993. Test Pilot was Wg Cdr P Ashoka.

    It completed its 128Hr of test flight before being donated to HAL Museum.

    It was designed by the National Aerospace Laboratories and produced by HAL.

    hindustan turbo trainer, HAL design based on modified HPT-32 fuselage with an allison engine, dropped after no interest shown from IAF.

    Grob G 115 manufactured in germany, used for training rookie fighter pilots. Extremely light weight due to carbon composites and quite cheap with each unit costing less than 5 million usd. Additionally it has a good safety record.

    Its the HANSA trainer aircraft from HAL. Twin seater turboprop. Limited numbers manufactured.

    This is the Grob 120. It is a notable development by Grob Aerospace of Germany in that it has a carbon composite airframe. This has supposedly resulted in fewer maintenance requirements.

    First flight was 1999.

    It has more recently been offered to the IAF as a basic trainer, including a possible deal involving HAL in the manufacture and supply chain should Grob be chosen:

    I am guessing this is related to the location of the picture.

    The engine of the standard A model is a 260 hp, 6 cylinder lycoming and it has a MTOW of about 1500 kg. The new TP version (being offered to India) has a more powerful engine rated at 380 horses (continuous) and 456 hp peak (for 5 minutes). All this and more can be found on the official website:

    NAL Hansa an all composite plane devleloped by NAL. I think first flight was in 99. Made by Tarneja aerospace.

    Its Hansa 2. THey had a Continental O-240 engine. This is the only aircraft of this type. They also tried to re-engine this type as Hansa 2RE.
