    You folks, I must admit, are way ahead of the curve. There's only one thing that everyone is wrong on. The MARS sight is manufactured by Alpha Design in Bangalore. They have a JV with ITL.

    Col. Shukla,

    In the top-right corner of the second photo, there is a poster on something called the "Multi Calibre Individual Weapon System".

    Do you have a close-up of that poster or any details about this MCIWS? To me it looks like a successor to the INSAS assault rifle with modular add-ons: the 40mm UBGL is discernible as well as some kind of thermal sight.

    Looks good, and I hope the specifications are as good as a comparable import. Just one comment: Does the grip seem odd? It seems to bend forward; this has to put a lot of strain on the operator's wrist. I hope they change this if and when this weapon hits full production.
