  1. hope the common sense prevail over army and they buy more arjun as compared to that tin-can 90

  2. I would luv 2 have those in my garage. Army people are suicidal idiots..they r not gonna take it anyway.
They would like to rest in their static T-90 with air conditioning on.

^^common sense is definitely not suitable for our army and airforce..

dun know why Navy got some...
    may be accidental..

  3. In Army and Air Force, trainees are told to report to duty without their brains. Its common to hear "keep your brains at home and come here!"

  6. shuklaji these are not the first pictures of the arjun assembly line. shiv aroor's half an hour special report contained full footage of the assembly line.

  7. You're right, Shiv's half-hour did have those pictures. But what I'm talking about are the first pictures of 64 completed Arjuns ready and waiting for delivery.

I know my photography isn't great, but these pictures weren't taken by me. Don't look at them for photographic merit... just consider them posted as proof that the production series Arjuns really are rolling off the assembly line.

Maybe I should word it differently.

    Thanks for that.

  8. ajai, may I should have congratulated you first for giving us these pics ! sorry about that !

why don't you do a special on NDTV about the army attitude to arjun and the attendant problems ??
you people do have some influence.

case in point: the "flying coffin" campaign by the media did succeed in bringing down the mig crash rate.

    please give it a try.
    best of luck.

--> Please donot blame the soldiers who will ride the tank for this drama. Much 'bigger' people are behind it. They may be high ranking MoD officials, Army generals and usually corrupt politicians...

  13. Someone pls file a PIL in the Supreme Court and stop this decision by the Army. If you ask me, its illegal to send our soldiers to war with any inferior equipment when we have the means and source to have better equipment. This should be made illegal and anyone making such decision be either courtmartialled (if in services) or arrested and sentenced (if beaurocrats).

Raghu, I have seen an entire one hour documentry on Abrams manufacturing and how they service the tank (stripped down to bare bottom) after they come back from IRAQ war and how they fix the engines and reassemble/repaint and send them back to war on Discovery Channel.

You are taking of couple of Arjun pictures? Really?

  18. @Raghu
Are you not familiar with google search?
type Abrahams tank and search images and please be more respectful in your use of words for a man who has served the nation in uniform for 20+yrs and continues to serve it in a different manner now.
Criticism is good as long as it is justified.
