The vehicle has a 2700 cc Ssangyong engine, which generates 173 BHP at 4000 rpm and a healthy 340 NM of torque at 1800 rpm.
It's got a fully independent suspension on all four wheels and comes in a petrol variant as well.
I feel that you have not been tracking the trials too closely. the Mahindra AXE has not even been able to complete the desert trials. I have seen it from close quarters during the trials and as usual Mahindra has prepared a vehicle which looks good but does not have much substance in it.
